Theory: I received my Associates Degree in Computer Graphic Design at Spencierian College. College was the splash board from which I took the plunge into the ocean of Graphic and Web design.
Experience: Finding that I had received the theory to start a successful career I began to seek the experience to be taken seriously as both a web and graphic designer. Shortly thereafter I became a graphic and web designer for two t-shirt companies - one Wholesale, the other Retail. I am now the Senior Graphic and Web Designer for both companies.
These positions taught me how to use my theory in the "real" world. I began to see the imagination that can be expressed and realized using my various skills, learning to use the theory to make the web a better experience for my company's customers.
Through CSS and PHP I sought to be taken seriously as a graphic artist and web designer. I began to use CSS to create my personal online portfolio to be a living, breathing presentation of myself. To begin, I looked to my personal space for inspiration to theme each aspect of myself. Each page has a life and personality of its own. I hope you enjoy my life and work.
My first inspiration came from my back yard where I spent many days day dreaming about the future. I decided to use my pond as the theme of my main page — "The Looking Glass" of my portfolio. I also decided to use the Asian influences within my space to give a linear elegance to each space.
The second inspiration came from my love of Japanese pop culture and video games, both of which gave me imagination and so much inspiration throughout college. This seemed daunting at first — How do I show my style through an already strong design style[s]? I found a good balance of Western to compliment my Eastern upbringing.

Through my experience with CSS and PHP I have become a better designer and programmer. Teaching myself more design skills, programming skills, and personal expression skills has made me into a person that would make a company proud.
I would like to find a position I can really own and make the company I work for benefit from my employment through my skills as a web developer, coder, and designer, as well as my graphic design skills. I strive to make myself a great asset to any company. The only real requirement I have is to let me prove it to YOU.
